Astonishing as it may be, some basic mouse manipulations, which are available in almost any text editing / processing software, are not known even by experienced users. You may want to spend a minute reading the instructions below.
Selecting a word / a range of words
• Double click = select a word
• Double click-drag (sometimes called one click and a half) = select a range of words.
• If the control key is depressed while you do the 'one click and a half', the "Help" system will search for a help file about the words just selected.
Selecting a line / a range of lines
• Triple click = select a line
• Triple click-drag (sometimes called two clicks and a half) = select a range of lines
